no they run at different speeds the 333mhz and 266mhz is the only thing you need to conser your self with it tell you the speed the ram run at . a motherboard is deign for a a persific ram speed. so has long you match that ram speed your fine . if you try put ram in there that slower then your ram speed you slow the motherboard and the whole pc down. if it even boots. you also can't miss match ram speed ether that would be a very bad idea. has you can lock up your whole PC.
