Sudoku - do you?
If you're reading this article, you probably already know that Sudoku is a great game to keep your brain ticking. Sudoku consists of a puzzle game based upon a 9-by-9 grid that's only partially filled with numbers.
The objective is to fill the empty spaces of the grid with single digit numbers so that the same digit does not appear twice on any horizontal or vertical line.
Additionally, the same number should not appear twice in any of nine 3-by-3 mini grids on the screen. Sudoku began its gentle attack on us all around 2004 and many versions can now be found in countless national newspapers the world over.
Sudoku addicts are as obsessed with their puzzles as 1980s teenagers were fixated on their infuriating Rubik's cube. Just like the Rubik's cube, Sudoku gives your brain a jolly good work-out.
In fact, scientists say that solving these puzzles depends on neural pathways that even the most powerful computers are unable to replicate.
Researchers say that by observing how people solve the puzzles, we might one day be able to develop more intelligent and brain-like computers. Professor John Hopfield of Princeton University, USA is researching the unique brain processes we use when playing Sudoku.
To crack Sudoku our brains use a unique set of neural pathways known as associative memory, Hopfield says, which enables us to discover a pattern from a partial clue. Although computers can store vast amounts of information and process it at impressive speed, they aren't yet capable of sophisticated associative memory.
Professor Hopfield provides an algorithm of associative memory in his paper, which he says could be implemented in silicon chips.

how much does a memory cube (for game cube) hold?
I keep saving different games on it i have about 10 right now. Will some be erased if i keep doing that?
Gamecube Memory Cards (MC's) are named based on how much data is stored on them.
MC-59's (grey cards) will hold only 59 blocks of data.
MC-251's (black cards) will hold 251 blocks of data
MC-1019's (white cards) will hold 1019 blocks of data
You can store as many games as the card's storage can handle. When a memory card is full, IT WILL NOT SAVE ANY NEW DATA! The Gamecube will not delete any save data unless you delete the save data yourself to make space for the new game.
Just take a look at the back of all your game cases to see how many blocks you need to save for each game. If a game has a range of requirements, go with the highest amount. You may need to check your memory card (boot up your gamecube without a game & then select "Memory Card") to see if you have enough space for that new game.
Please note that most games will access the memory cards in Slot A automatically.
