How much are these Kingston RDRAM worth?
I am selling off the parts of my old computer that my ex-boyfriend built for me. I'm wondering about how much I should ask for this memory....Two sticks, Kingston, 128MB 800RDRAM RIMM. (MPN: KVR800X16128) Starting bid suggestions?
This is Rambus memory which isn't very popular. Some people unlucky enough (myself included) to be using it have found that prices haven't fallen nearly as much as the more popular DRAM and it's variants.
If the memory was larger, say 2 x 512MB you'd probably do alright. Maybe $75 or even more. Unfortunately, most people that still use this are upgrading to larger sticks and taking out the small 128MB themselves. At any rate, you should probably to to Ebay and search for RDRAM and see what it's going for. My guess is you might get $20-$25 or thereabouts. I would start the bidding very low, say 99 cents.
