Several Considerations On The HP Color LaserJet 2500 Printer
The HP Color LaserJet 2500 Printer is a 4-color cartridge laser printer that's easy to operate without putting quality output on the line. It also leaves room for expandability, enabling itself to grow with your increasing productivity needs. There's also HP Color LaserJet 2500 printer toners technology included in the machine to maintain brilliant and photo-quality color rendering each time.
It weighs 47.5 pounds with all the supplies attached to the unit, and it measures 18.9" x 17.7" x 12.8" (width x depth x height). Inside this body is a 300 MHz processor that sets the maximum duty cycle to 30000 impressions a month. Although there's a standard 64 MB of RAM installed, this can be expanded to as large as 256 MB. That's because of the two SDRAM DIMM 100-pin slots incorporated into the printer's body.
Up to 16 pages per minute can be produced for black and white printing. For colored printing, that's 4 pages per minute. Carry out the task at hand right away as the first page is already out in 16 seconds for black and white tasks, and 29 seconds for colored ones. With an input media handling capacity of up to 875 sheets, the 2500 is suitable for providing everyday document printing needs of an office or business setup.
The 2500 comes with a total of 3 input paper trays that can handle an assortment of media sizes. The first tray can take on sizes ranging from 3" x 5" to a maximum of 8.5" x 14". The second tray supports those with sizes from 5.8" x 8.3" up to 8.5" x 14". On the other hand, the third tray is compatible with a size of 8.5" x 14". Media types supported are also extensive, including plain, bond, recycled, rough, labels, envelopes and card stocks.
Printing resolution of up to 600 x 600 dots per inch makes for crisp details and lifelike colors. Other than the impressive resolution, there's also the Image REt (Image Resolution Enhancement technology) 2400 Hewlett Packard has added into the unit. This technology accurately blends the 4 HP toner cartridge colors (yellow, magenta, cyan and black) to produce millions of colors for photo quality images. Additionally, it churns out professional-looking results without affecting the unit's speed.
Easy connection to a computer is easy with the 2 available connectivity options. There's the IEEE 1284-B parallel port and the USB 1.1 port. However, the downside to such is they cannot be used simultaneously. The machine also features an enhanced input/output EIO slot in case an optional JetDirect is to be installed. Such is a technology that allows for direct connection to a network. A manual type of duplex printing is available, with driver support already provided.
Standard languages included are PostScript 3, HP PCL 5c and HP PCL 6 emulation. Integrated typefaces are 45 TrueType fonts, 35 PostScript fonts and 1 Line Printer font. There are also TrueType and Intellifont scaling technologies included. The machine is fairly easy to operate; a single door fitted onto the printer is all it takes to have access to 5 printing supplies within that are simple to use.
So if growth is foreseen in an office or business setup, the HP Color LaserJet 2500 Printer can be considered a sound investment. Increasing productivity needs can be easily met as there's enough room for expansion. Its high quality LaserJet 2500 printer toner cartridge and innovative features allow for printouts with professional quality.
i installded a 256mb sdram to my pc but it still shows 128mb memory?
it used to have a 128mb pc133 DIMM sdram memory and i replaced it with a 256 and it still shows 128mb capacity of memory
Are you sure your computer takes DDR SDRAM, or just DIMM, and did you have a kit of 2 sticks? If it has a kit of 2 Sticks then install both stick of RAM in each slot. Also try http://crucial.com not for purchasing, but let them do a system scan and they can tell you your RAM requirments.
Anymore questions contact me with your computer manufacturer, and model of computer, and I will help you.
Have a nice day
Ken.
