Caribou Vibration Ensemble Featuring Marshall Allen by All Tomorrows Parties

> As a present to ATP attendees, one of our curators Dan Snaith of Caribou has
donated the live album (recorded at one of the only other Caribou Vibration
Ensemble shows to date back in 2009) as a free download for you all to grab in
anticipation of the Nightmare event.

> As recently announced, Caribou’s headline set at the festival will be as the
Caribou Vibration Ensemble featuring - special guest Marshall Allen (Sun Ra
Arkestra), Kieran Hebden (Four Tet) on synthesizers and electronics, James
Holden on modular synthesizers, a 4 piece horn section and two drummers - an
11 piece band total. This is only the second time Caribou Vibration Ensemble
have performed - the first show was at ATP NYC in 2009. The band features the
four piece horn section that featured on Caribou’s Swim LP and James Holden’s
modular synth is going to be connected to / played by Ahmed Gallab’s
(Sinkane/Yeasayer) drum kit.
